Tea Area Food Pantry
The Tea Food Pantry is a combined effort between the local churches. It is located within Trinity Lutheran Church at 335 W. 1st St., Tea, SD 57064.
Days & Hours:
Hours are Tuesday & Thursday 2:00-5:00 pm or by appointment - call the church office at 605-498-2343.
Who can visit:
Guests must live within the Tea Community.
Donations:
Food or monetary donations can be dropped off at Trinity Lutheran Church anytime during the church business hours. Please make checks payable to “Tea Area Food Pantry”.
Tea Community Food Distribution
We are sad to announce that Feeding SD has decided to discontinue the distribution in Tea as of July 2025. Budget adjustments at a federal level have resulted in permanent cuts to areas of The Emergency Assistance Food Program (TEFAP) with the potential for more cuts to come. TEFAP food is utilized in our mobile distributions, and Feeding SD is doing everything they can to effectively allocate their resources across the state. We sincerely thank all those that have volunteered their time, given monetary and food donations to this great food ministry. If you are in need of food assistance, you may visit the Tea Area Food Pantry at 335 W 1st St., Tea, SD 57064, it is open Tuesday and Thursdays from 2:00-5:00 pm or for a list of FeedingSD mobile distributions locations visit, www.feedingsouthdakota.org/mobile.
