Pastor Tom joined the Trinity Lutheran Church community in August 2016 after serving for twenty years in congregations from the plains of western Minnesota to the Black Hills of South Dakota. Pastor Tom says he was “drawn to Trinity Lutheran Church by the vibrancy of having four living generations who gather to learn about Jesus and who are discerning how to follow Him in a time of tremendous change. It’s also pretty wonderful to be part of a vibrant community that is growing. If a person is looking for a congregation that has the liveliness of many young people and the possibility of building a network of friends or surrogate grandparents, this is your place.”

Pastor Tom enjoys sharing a laugh with people as well as a cup of good coffee. Preaching, teaching Bible studies, and walking with people who are new to faith or returning to church are several of his favorite things about his work.

Pastor Tom is married to wife Gail. They have two children and two rather barky dogs.

For fun he likes to hunt, read, and spend time with his family. He also spends a good amount of time cheering for the Tea Titans.
