Christie graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead. She married her husband, Phil and they have 3 married children, Seth, Anna and Anders, who have 3 wonderful spouses, Holly, Kyle and Molly, respectively. While her children were still young, she began working at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wadena, MN. While in ministry there, she attended Luther Seminary and became an Associate in Ministry, currently renamed Deacon. After 23 years, she followed the Holy Spirit’s prompting to pursue new ministry.

At Trinity, her areas of ministry are preaching, teaching (Milestone Ministry, Confirmation and Bible studies), worship planning, overseeing the 5 worship bands and pastoral care.

In her free time, she enjoys reading, music, having her family come and visit (especially those precious grandkids) and being outside with Phil and their golden retrievers.

She feels God has led her to this congregation (she has an interesting story on this, ask her if you’d like to know more.) and enjoys working with the staff and the good people of Trinity.
