Wednesday school gives us the opportunity to continue God's teachings to our younger congregation. This is a time we can build onto the regular Sunday cirriculum and make learning the bible more fun.

The evening starts off at 3:20 with 4th and 9th graders in God Squad. After this there is a short break so families can have supper together. We meet back at the church by 6:30 for an evening chapel together. After chapel, the confirmation students break off into their respective groups to discuss the sermon topic of the night with their mentors.

God Squad

Each Wednesday beginning September 22nd, God Squad will begin our after school program. All 4th and 5th graders are invited to join a fun, active, and "workin' on faith" group as we enjoy, games, a snack and then a interactive Bible program called Good News Bearers. The program is designed to get mom and dad involved too. Please fill out the registration form below and include $20 for materials and shirts and hand it in to the church office. 6th grade confirmation

Sixth Graders will register to receive their Wednesday after school pre-confirmation schedule and materials. Each student is asked to purchase a new study Bible that will be well-used during their four years of Confirmation.

7th and 8th grade confirmation

Seventh and Eighth Graders are asked to come early and register for the for the coming year. A new model with more adult leadership will propel us into a great year of faith learning. Each Wednesday night, students and their mentors will begin with evening chapel. A high school band will lead the music for worship.  If the student misses a service/meeting on Wednesday, there is a recording of the service on the Youth and Family menu.

9th grade confirmation

Ninth Graders will be registering for their last fall of confirmation on Wednesday evening. On this night we ask that the 9th graders be prepared to purchase a copy of Deitrich Bonhoeffer's famous letter to his congregation, Life Together and other materials needed for Confirmation Sunday. This is important, "basics of faith" book will provide the framework for each student's final, formation work as well as support the writing of each "I Believe"" paper. Meetings in the loft with Pastor Greg will then begin at 8pm on Wednesday.
