Worship is central to our faith. Everything at Trinity revolves around what happens in worship. Our desire for anyone who worships with us is that they sense God’s welcoming presence.   Trinity gathers for worship on Sunday morning.  The movement in every service is the same: an invocation leads us to words of confession to hearing  the promise of forgiveness, the preaching of the Word leads us to a response of hope and joy as we are blessed to go back out into a world that needs us! And, the music gives voice to our souls.

The Sunday, 8:00 a.m. service is often called our “traditional” hymnal  service. The liturgy guides our worship and our beloved hymns guide our music.  Pastors don their alb and stole. Children’s sermons, Milestone celebrations, and a wide-variety of special music are included on a regular basis.

The Sunday, 9:15 a.m. worship service contains a special teaching component for our kids and adults.  We heartily encourage parents with children to start their Sabbath day together in worship and model faithful worship.  Then, after an opening fifteen minutes of worship, the children (pre-K to 6th grade) are invited into a large group Sunday Opening in the Fellowship Hall.  Parents finish the rest of this service with  a preacher down in the middle of the people with bibles helping worshippers dig into the text for the day.

The Sunday 10:45 a.m. worship service is always led by one of the congregation’s “Celebrate” worship teams.  This 10:30 a.m. service is set up to receive children into worship: worship bags are placed at the entrance of the sanctuary to occupy our younger children’s attentions, a nursery is staffed for the parents’ convenience, and right before the sermon, children from 2nd grade and younger are invited into an active worship time called children’s church.


Important Worship Notes:

• Nursery Care—Every service has nursery care for children ages 5 and younger. Parents are also invited to walk their child in the gathering space behind the glass and still take in worship.
• Children’s Worship Bags—A stand of multi-colored bags are available for children to bring to the pews and help them occupy themselves during worship.
• Children’s Church—(10:45am)
• Each Sunday during the Sunday School year children in 2nd grade and younger will be invited to attend Children’s Church in the fellowship hall.
• Listening Devices—Special hearing assistance devices are located at the sound board in the sanctuary.  The sound board technician will assist you with a device.
• Ushers/Readers—Volunteers are essential for a smooth running service. If you’d like to help     in any Worship capacity contact the church office and the Volunteer Coordinator will assist you with the ways that you can serve Trinity in this way.
• Communion—Every 2nd and 3rd week of the month are communion Sundays.  We commune in one of two ways: Intinction, dipping bread into wine or Individual cups, wine taken with bread.
• Special Music—Contact Tom Stadem if you have a song or musical piece to share. 
• Recorded Worship Tape and CD delivery —The 8:00am and the 10:45am services are recorded for our shut-ins. Copies are also available upon request.  The 10:45am service can also be found on our website under "Listen to Our Sermons" on the left hand side of all pages.
